Project Narrative: Plescia Construction & Development successfully completed a 15,000 square foot fast-track commercial interior renovation for Exalt Youth at 17 Battery Place in Lower Manhattan. Exalt Youth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved young adults through workforce development and professional training programs — the renovated space now serves as a hub for their educational programming, providing dedicated rooms for instruction, coaching, and career readiness.
The project encompassed a full interior transformation, beginning with comprehensive demolition to clear and reconfigure the existing layout. Our team then executed a complete buildout featuring new framing, architectural detailing, custom millwork, and high-end finish installations throughout — delivering a modern, highly functional environment purpose-built to support Exalt Youth’s mission and the communities they serve.
